The fat quarter layout came together way faster than I expected, and the 52 by 65 size is perfect for a throw on the couch. My seams lined up nicely even though I'm still pretty new to quilting.

Finished this at 52" x 65" and it makes a perfect lap quilt for the couch. The pattern worked up fast since the fat quarters do most of the heavy lifting. My seams lined up better than I expected for a scrappy look.

I was worried a fat-quarter quilt would look scrappy, but the layout pulls the prints together beautifully. Finished size came out right at 52" x 65", perfect for draping over the guest bed, and the piecing went faster than I expected.
