ANDOVER - Dimples by Gail Kessler - Slate

The fabric has a nice weight to it for quilting, and the dimples pattern adds just the right amount of texture without being overwhelming. I'm already planning my next project with this slate colorway.

The slate colorway is exactly the deep, moody gray I needed for my latest quilt top. This cotton has a nice tight weave that handled my machine piecing without any fraying. I've already washed a swatch and the color held beautifully with no shrinkage.

The dimples from this collection have such a lovely texture once you start quilting with it, and the slate shade adds a nice depth without being too dark. It handled prewashing perfectly and pressed out smoothly for my latest patchwork project.
