The 44-inch width gave me plenty of room to fussy-cut the tuberose motifs for my quilt blocks, and the celery root ground is a refreshing change from stark white. It pressed flat with no stubborn creases, which made piecing a breeze.

The celery root background is such a soft, earthy neutral that it makes the tuberose blooms feel almost dimensional. Cut into it at 44 inches wide and the hand is lovely and smooth for piecing. I’ve already got a second fat quarter set coming to make a matching throw pillow.

The tuberose flowers pop beautifully against the muted celery root background. I was pleasantly surprised that the 44-inch width gave me just enough fabric for my quilt blocks without leftovers. This cotton feels sturdy but still soft to the touch.
