The color is richer and more mottled than I expected from the online swatch, which makes it stand out beautifully in my quilt top. The hand is soft yet stable, so it pressed a clean seam without stretching out of shape.

The spruce colorway is exactly what I hoped for—deep and rich without being too dark. The fabric held up beautifully through piecing, with no fraying or shifting on the first wash.

I needed a fabric that wouldn't slide around while I was piecing a log cabin block, and this fabric's texture stayed perfectly in place. The Spruce colorway is a true, deep green that coordinates beautifully with other Vermont collection prints.
