The 40x40 size is perfect for a weekend project, and the Cali & Co. fabric pairing in the sample photo really helped me visualize my own color choices. I’ve made two of these barn stars now and the intermediate level felt just right—challenging but not frustrating.

The diagrams are crystal clear, so even at the intermediate level I never felt lost. The finished 40-inch square is striking, and the Cali & Co. fabrics really pop in the design.

I was a little nervous about the intermediate level, but the instructions for constructing the 40-inch square are so clear and well-diagrammed that it came together beautifully. The Cali & Co. fabric line really pops in this pattern.
