I’d been looking for a cheerful calendula to use in a spring quilt, and this fabric’s color is exactly what I imagined—warm but not overwhelming. The hand feels soft and the weave is nice and stable through the needle, which made piecing a breeze.

The calendula color is really rich and vibrant—it pairs beautifully with cream solids for a Dresden plate quilt. I’ve already ordered more yardage for the backing because it’s such a versatile print.

Just finished piecing a baby quilt with this calendula fabric and the hand is so soft, almost like it’s been pre-washed already. The color is a warm, rich gold that doesn't fade into the background.
