The dark willow green background makes the calico dots pop beautifully, and the fabric has a nice crisp hand for piecing. I just wish the scale of the print were a tiny bit larger for my pattern.

The floral motif in the Dark Willow colorway feels more muted and earthy than the screen showed, which worked perfectly for my quilt backing. Fabric has a nice, even hand for piecing, though I wish it were a touch wider for larger projects.

The colorway is richer in person than on screen—that deep willow green really anchors the calico print nicely. It's a bit lighter weight than some quilting cottons I've used, so I'll pair it with a firmer backing, but the drape works well for a softer project.
