Cut this piece out for a quilted table runner and the 44-inch width gave me plenty of room to fussy-cut the scales just right. The cotton has a nice hand to it, not too stiff, and the metallic wine and gold pops under the machine light.

The metallic sheen in the wine and gold scales really catches the light beautifully, and the 44-inch width gave me plenty of room for my quilt blocks. It's 100% cotton so it pressed flat without any fuss, which I always appreciate.

This fabric is surprisingly soft for a cotton quilting weight, and the wine background gives the gold metallic scales a warm, rich glow. I'm already planning a second project with it. The 44-inch width leaves plenty of room for fussy cutting.
