Clover Ball Point Awl

After struggling with other awls that snag my fabric, this ball-point tip makes a clean opening every time. I especially like how I can close the hole without damaging the fibers.

The ball-point tip glides through fabric layers without snagging, making trapunto work much smoother than with my old awl. I also appreciate how the tapered end helps close openings neatly without shredding the fibers.
