This little iron is surprisingly effective for its size — the 8-foot cord really helps when I'm working on a quilt in the middle of the room. The stand keeps it stable and the easy-glide sole plate moves smoothly over fabric.

The 8-foot cord is a lifesaver—I can reach my ironing board from any outlet in the room. The slide-switch makes it easy to dial in the right heat for delicate fabrics, and it’s light enough to maneuver without my wrist getting tired.

I was skeptical a 20-watt iron could handle my quilting seams, but the easy-glide sole plate surprised me—it moves smoothly without snagging. The slide-switch temperature setting is simple to adjust mid-project, and at 3.2 ounces my wrist never tires, even during marathon pressing sessions.
