The directions for the folded corner clipper are so clear that I finished a 45-inch square top in one weekend, even with interruptions. It’s a perfect stash-buster for all those square-friendly fabrics I’ve been hoarding, and the finished size is just right for a nursery.

I've been using the Folded Corner Clipper technique from this pattern, and it really speeds up the piecing process. The 6-hour project time is about right for a weekend afternoon. Just wish there were a few more layout options for the blocks.

The 45-inch square size is perfect for a baby gift, and using the folded corner clipper made the half-square triangles fly by. Took me about seven hours total, which felt right for a weekend project.
