The instructions for the star block construction were incredibly clear; I had my whole runner top pieced in one afternoon. Even the tricky bias seams on the flag stripes came out perfectly flat without any puckering.

I used this pattern to make a runner for the Fourth of July, and the piecing instructions made it easy to get the stars and stripes aligned perfectly. The finished size was exactly what I needed for my dining table.
