The faux flying geese blocks gave my stash that scrappy look without the headache of cutting triangles, and the lap size came together in a weekend. So happy with how the crib version turned out for my niece.

I used 10-inch precut squares for the lap size and it came together faster than I expected—the faux flying geese trick really simplifies piecing. The crib dimensions are perfect for a baby shower gift I'm working on now.

I was a bit skeptical about how the "faux flying geese" would look, but they came together beautifully with my 10-inch squares. The pattern instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the finished lap size is perfect for cuddling on the couch.
