Easy Strip Tulip DVD

The 50-minute runtime is just enough to watch the whole strip-piecing process twice. I already squared up my first test block on point and the pattern geometry worked beautifully.

The 1931 Ruby McKim pattern came alive beautifully with the quick strip-piecing method shown here, and squaring the blocks on point made the tulips pop. At 50 minutes, it's just the right length to watch once before cutting into my fabric.

The 50 minutes of viewing is perfect for a weekend sewing session, and the strip-piecing method really does speed things up. I love that the blocks are squared on point, it makes the tulips look so crisp and neat.
