The checks pattern in the Walnuts colorway is so warm and cozy, it adds just the right depth to my quilt top. The weave feels sturdy yet soft to the touch, and the colors blend beautifully with my neutral stash.

I was pleasantly surprised by how crisp and well-defined the walnut checks pattern is up close—it really holds its own when pieced together. The hand of the fabric is smooth and easy to work with, which made cutting and stitching a dream.

The fabric has a lovely, subtle sheen that makes the walnut checks feel elegant rather than plain. I'm already planning what to sew with it—the weight is perfect for a fall quilt.
