FREE SPIRIT - Blostma & Song من Penny Jeffries - Spotty Peony - Vermilion

The spotty peony print is so crisp and cheerful, exactly what I needed for a bright spring quilt. The 100% cotton feels lovely to work with, and the fabric width means I'll get plenty of use out of one yard.

The color is exactly the rich vermilion shown, and the peonies have a nice vintage feel that's not too cutesy. I've already cut into it for a quilt backing and the 100% cotton pressed up beautifully with barely any wrinkles.

The print is so crisp and that rich vermilion really makes the peonies stand out beautifully. It's a lovely weight for quilting, pressed up nicely without any fraying headaches. I'm already planning a second project with the leftovers.
