I was worried the pattern might feel too busy, but the scale of the chain mail design is just right on this 44/45 inch wide cotton. It presses beautifully and has a crisp hand that made piecing my quilt blocks a breeze.

The hand feels lovely and sturdy through the sewing machine, and the 44/45 inch width gave me plenty of room for my quilt blocks without piecing extra strips. It pressed flat with minimal wrinkling, which saved me a ton of time on the ironing board.

The black is a true, deep black that doesn't fade after the first wash, which is exactly what I needed for a dark background in my latest quilt. The 44/45 inch width gave me just enough fabric for my project without a lot of waste. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, though I wish the weave was
