FREE SPIRIT - Findings by Valori Wells - Encircled - Unity

The color depth in this "Unity" print is really striking - the way the rings layer over each other creates such a lovely sense of movement. Cut into it for a quilt back and the fabric has that nice, crisp hand without being stiff.

I was initially worried the fabric might be stiff, but it's actually soft and easy to work with on my sewing machine. The Unity print is beautifully balanced and adds a nice focal point to my quilt top.

The circles in this fabric are perfectly spaced, so cutting into it feels forgiving even for a beginner like me. It pressed flat with no weird shifting, and the weight is just right for a summer quilt back.
