FREE SPIRIT - Grace by Valori Wells - Patient - Alabaster

The alabaster colorway is even softer in person than it appears online, and the fabric has a lovely hand that makes piecing a dream. I’m already planning to use it for the background of my next quilt top.

Cut into this yesterday for a baby quilt and the hand feel is lovely—soft but with enough body that the pieces held their shape while I was piecing. The alabaster background is a warm white that picks up the subtle print without overpowering the other fabrics in the collection.

The alabaster color is exactly what I was hoping for—a soft, warm white that blends beautifully with other prints. I’ve already started piecing a baby quilt with it, and the fabric feels sturdy enough to hold up through washes.
