The 58/60 inch width gave me plenty of room for my quilt backing without piecing, and the polyester minky feels plush without being too slippery to handle. The Disco Poms pattern in Shadow has just the right amount of subtle shimmer for a modern baby blanket.

I was nervous about minky, but this Shadow colorway is even softer than I'd hoped and the tiny pom-poms add just the right amount of texture. It sewed up beautifully for a baby quilt backing.

The Disco Poms print is so cheerful in person, and the Shadow colorway makes it feel sophisticated rather than childish. I’ve been using it for a baby quilt backing, and the 100% polyester is surprisingly soft and cozy.
