I was pleasantly surprised how well this black-on-black palm print hides dirt while still showing the pattern clearly. The fabric has a nice, soft hand that made cutting and sewing the pieces for my quilt top effortless.

The palm pattern feels almost dimensional against that deep black—it's going to pop beautifully in my quilt blocks. Fabric has a nice, sturdy hand without being stiff, and the print is crisp right down to the smallest fronds. Already planning a second cut for backing.

The black background really makes the metallic palm fronds pop — I'm glad the fabric's hand is soft enough for a baby quilt. It pressed flat easily with just a light steam.
