The hexagon blocks come together beautifully with the Hex n More ruler, and the fabric combinations make for a stunning galaxy effect. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to avoid any tricky Y seams during construction.

The nine blocks work up so smoothly with the Hex n More ruler that I forgot I was doing a Block of the Month at all. Each galaxy-themed unit has its own personality, and skipping the Y-seams makes the whole project feel like a fun puzzle instead of a chore.

The Hex n More ruler made cutting these blocks so precise and easy—no more struggling with weird angles. The included patterns are straightforward, and I love that there are no pesky Y seams to wrestle with.
