The Dresden plates are so beautifully precise, and the hexagons really make the design pop. I love how the 30 mini-stitcheries add such a personal, handcrafted feel to the 40x42 inch quilt.

I was a little intimidated by all the mini-stitcheries at first, but once I started laying them out with the paper-pieced hexagons, everything came together beautifully. The finished quilt is such a charming, cozy size at 40” x 42”.

The Dresden plates and hexagons are beautifully precise, and each mini-stitchery is a tiny work of art. It took me a few evenings just to admire all 30 of them before starting to quilt.
