I've already washed this once and the dye held perfectly, which was a relief since deep colors can be tricky. The hand feel is smooth and pliable, not stiff like some other batiks I've worked with.

The colors in this Bali-made batik are so rich and true to the photo—the blue shading is stunning. It's soft enough to hand-stitch without fraying issues, which is exactly what I needed for my quilt project.

The batik pattern is incredibly detailed, with rich Havana tones that really pop once you see them in natural light. It's dyed in Bali, and you can tell the color saturation is deep and even across the whole yard. I've already started a quilt top with it and the fabric holds its shape beautifully.
