HOFFMAN - Bali Watercolors - Cabernet - Purple - K95327

I've been looking for a rich purple for a quilt backing and this cabernet shade is just deep enough without being too dark. The fabric handled beautifully through my machine, with no fraying or puckering during piecing.

Cut into this for a baby quilt and the deep cabernet purple stayed true through every single patch, no fading or muddying even after a prewash. The hand feels smooth and slightly crisp, which made piecing those tiny appliqué shapes a real pleasure.

The color is so rich and consistent across the whole bolt—it’s perfect for the patchwork quilt I’m piecing together. The weave feels sturdy but still drapes nicely, and it pressed out completely flat with just a quick steam.
