The printed panel makes lining up all those tiny pieces so much simpler than traditional paper piecing. I had my quilt top assembled in a couple of afternoons, and the opal colors look even better in person.

I was a bit intimidated by paper piecing, but the printed foundation pattern made every block come together perfectly. The fabric colors in this kit are even more vibrant in person and the whole top came together faster than I expected.

The fabric bundle has such a lovely mix of cool and warm tones, and the printed panel made lining up those tiny pieces a breeze. I was nervous about paper piecing, but the pre-printed foundation kept everything straight — my first block turned out better than I expected.
