The medallion layout came together so beautifully, and I love that it finishes at a generous 81 1/2" square—perfect for a bed-sized quilt. The pieced blocks have just the right mix of complexity and rhythm to keep me engaged without feeling overwhelmed.

I was nervous about the 81½-inch finished size, but the instructions made it surprisingly easy to follow. The pieced blocks in the medallion layout look beautiful together, though I wish the pattern included more detailed diagrams for the borders.

The medallion layout is really coming together nicely on my sewing table. I just wish the pattern included a few more detailed diagrams for the pieced blocks, since I had to re-read a couple sections. Still, the finished 81½-inch square will be a perfect bed quilt.
