ISLAND BATIK - Breathtaking Browns - Walnut - K50084-

I’ve been using this for a quilt backing, and the brown has such a warm, rich feel that ties the whole top together nicely. The weave is tight but still soft to the touch, which made cutting and stitching it a breeze.

The walnut shade is deeper and more saturated than I expected from the online swatch, which actually worked perfectly for my log cabin quilt. The fabric pressed without any shifting and kept its rich tone after the first wash.

The hand-dyed pattern gives it so much texture up close, and it presses out beautifully flat for piecing. I've already cut into it for a quilt back and the earthy Walnut tone plays exactly as I hoped.
