ISLAND BATIK - Opulent Oranges - Amber - K45089-

The amber tones in this fabric shift beautifully depending on the light, and the hand is surprisingly soft for a batik. I cut into it immediately for a quilt project, and it pressed like a dream with no fraying.

This batik has such a rich, layered depth, and the amber color is warm without being overwhelming. The fabric feels smooth and well-saturated, which makes it a pleasure to cut and piece. I’m already thinking of what pattern to use it in next.
