I’ve been looking for a lap-size pattern that feels complete without needing borders, and this one hits that sweet spot at 43x51 inches. The construction is clever without being fussy, and the finished top has a nice rhythm to it.

The colors in the finished quilt are so vibrant—the design really pops once the fabric pieces come together. I’m a beginner quilter, and the layout for assembling the blocks was easy to follow. It sewed up quickly and fits perfectly on my guest bed.

The pattern instructions were so clear that even the curved piecing came together without any trouble, and I love how the 43-by-51-inch finished size works perfectly for a small couch throw.
