KAUFMAN - Grove by Catherine Marion - Slate

I was pleasantly surprised by how nicely this slate blue works with lighter neutrals in my stash. The fabric held up perfectly through cutting and pressing without any fraying. Exactly what I needed for my next quilt project.

The slate blue is just the right amount of muted—not gray, not navy, but a soft in-between that makes patchwork feel calm. The weave is tight and even, so it pressed out nice and flat for my quilt blocks without any stretch.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well this slate blue works with my cream backgrounds—it doesn’t overpower, just adds a soft pop. The fabric stayed nice and crisp through my first wash, too.
