KAUFMAN - Kona Cotton - Jet Black

The black is truly deep and rich, not faded or grayish like some solids I've tried. It pressed beautifully with no shine, and the fabric has a nice, even weave that should hold up well in my quilt top.

I was a bit worried this cotton might look dull in person, but the jet black has this rich, even depth that's exactly what I needed for my quilt backing. The fabric feels nice and smooth without being too stiff—should hold up well to washing.

The depth of this black is perfect for my quilt backing—it's dense and consistent with no thin spots letting light through. The weave feels sturdy yet soft enough to hand-stitch without fighting the fabric.
