KAUFMAN - Ma Cherie by Sevenberry - Denim

The hand feel of this 100% cotton is perfect for piecing, and the classic denim blue holds up well after washing. I've already started cutting into it for a new quilt top.

The color is such a great true denim blue, works perfectly for a quilt I'm making. I've used other quilting cottons but this one holds its shape nicely without being too stiff.

I was worried the denim blue might look too plain, but the cotton has a nice, crisp texture that pressed beautifully for my quilt blocks. The only tiny thing is it's a bit lighter weight than I expected for a quilting cotton, though it handled the seams fine. Solid choice for a steady project.
