The weave has just enough texture to feel like linen but it’s still soft to the touch, and the Tornado colorway is a perfect stormy gray-blue that reads solid from a distance. I’m already planning my next quilt around this fabric.

The mottled gray-blue tones in this Tornado colorway are perfect for a stormy sky in my ocean quilt. It pressed flat beautifully with no shifting, and held its shape through piecing.

This fabric feels softer than regular quilting cotton, almost like a true linen, and the Tornado print has this beautiful, subtle movement that makes my quilt top look complex without extra work. I used it for a lap quilt and it pressed perfectly with minimal wrinkling, which saved me so much time.
