I was worried about sticky residue ruining my project, but this paper tape holds everything in place without any gumming. It tears so cleanly by hand that I didn't even need scissors once during my entire embroidery hoop session.

The tear-by-hand feature is a game changer when I'm mid-hoop and need to reposition a piece without hunting for scissors. It holds the fabric firmly through several passes of stitching and peels off clean with zero sticky residue left behind.

Tore off a strip with one hand mid-project and it held my fabric layers perfectly through the whole hoop session, no shifting at all. Didn't leave any sticky residue on my needle or the cloth, which is exactly what I needed for quick piecing.
