The lacy effect from trimming the felt away is so delicate and elegant — it really makes the poinsettias pop. I’ve already started cutting out my pieces and the instructions are super clear. Can’t wait to see this on my holiday table.

Took a bit of practice to get the trimming even, but the finished lacy poinsettia pattern looks beautiful on my holiday table. The felt appliqué is surprisingly easy to work with once you get the hang of it.

I’m not usually one for applique projects, but the felt trimming technique here is actually kind of meditative once you get the hang of it. The poinsettia shapes are crisp and the lacy result looks way more expensive than the effort it took. Just wish the instructions had a few more close-up photos
