I was a bit intimidated by the ombre fabric, but the 8.5" equilateral triangle made it so easy to line everything up. The pattern’s layout really makes the gradient pop, and I’m thrilled with how my quilt turned out.

I love how the 8.5" equilateral triangles come together so neatly in this pattern, and the ombre effect really pops when you lay out the layers row by row. It took me a little while to get the hang of the 60-degree cuts, but once I did, the blocks practically flew together.

The 60-degree triangle tool made cutting my ombre fabric so much easier than I expected, and the 8.5-inch equilateral triangles lined up perfectly for the quilt top. I’ve been quilting for years, but this pattern finally helped me use my stash in a way that feels fresh and intentional.
