Ordered a half-yard for a small bag project and the gold is more of a warm, antique tone than I expected—very elegant. The fabric feels smooth and holds a crease nicely when pressed, so it should quilt well.

I was a bit worried the mini trellis pattern might look too busy, but it actually adds such a lovely, subtle texture to my quilt top. The gold has just enough shimmer without being overwhelming.

The gold colorway is richer in person than it looks on screen, and the mini trellis pattern scales perfectly for small quilt blocks. I’ve already used it in a baby quilt border and the fabric holds its shape through pressing without fraying.
