The mauve tones are softer in person than I expected, which makes it perfect for a shabby-chic quilt I'm piecing. The cotton feels sturdy yet smooth under the needle, and the 44/45-inch width gave me plenty of room for cutting fat quarters.

The color depth on this 44/45-inch cotton is gorgeous—the mauve reads almost like a watercolor wash, and it drapes beautifully for piecing. I've already cut into it for a quilt top and the fabric pressed like a dream without any fraying.
