MODA - French General Solids - Lavender

The lavender shade is exactly what I needed for a scrappy quilt—it blends beautifully with the other solids without washing out. The cotton has a nice, smooth hand that presses crisp, and the yardage feels generous for the price.

Cut a few fat quarters for a baby quilt last weekend and the weave is sturdy yet soft enough to press into crisp seams. The lavender shade sits somewhere between dusty and bright, so it plays well with both florals and low-volume prints. Already ordered more for the backing.

The color is a perfect muted lavender that reads more sophisticated than bright, and the 100% cotton weave feels smooth and even to the needle. It pressed out beautifully flat for my quilt blocks, no waviness or shifting at all.
