I was a bit worried the purple would be too dark, but the watercolor effect makes it look so soft and dreamy. The 100% cotton has a nice, sturdy hand feel, and it pressed beautifully for my quilting project.

The color transitions are so smooth across the 44-inch width that it feels almost painted on, and the cotton has a lovely, crisp hand for piecing. I’ve already used it in a few blocks and the way the light hits the purple shifts is just gorgeous.

Used a fat quarter of this for a quilt backing and the color shift from deep plum to soft lilac is exactly what the pictures promised. The cotton has a nice, tight weave that handled the needle without any fraying. I keep pulling it out just to admire the ombré effect before I cut into it.
