The subtle gray tone of this Ash blender really helps tone down busier prints without washing them out. I used it as a sashing strip between floral blocks and it tied everything together perfectly. The fabric has a nice, soft hand that pressed well too.

The Ash colorway blends seamlessly with my brighter prints, and the fabric’s weight feels just right for piecing. I’ve already used it in two quilts and the texture stays soft through a pre-wash.

The color is such a perfect neutral—it’s got just enough warmth to blend without disappearing. I’m using it as a background in a scrappy quilt and it’s pulling everything together nicely. The weave feels tight and sturdy, which is exactly what I need for lots of piecing.
