The poppy pattern is crisp and bold against the dark iron background, and the cotton feels sturdy yet soft for piecing. I was pleasantly surprised by how nicely it held its shape after a pre-wash, no fraying or shrinking. This will pair beautifully with lighter prints in my next quilt.

The deep iron background makes the poppy print feel more subtle and sophisticated than I expected. It's soft right out of the package and pressed up beautifully for my quilt blocks.

The poppy floral pattern in this iron colorway is subtle enough for a modern quilt but still has that charming farmhouse feel. The 44/45-inch width gave me plenty of room to cut my pieces without waste. I’m already planning another project with this fabric.
