The pumpkins and birds scattered between the houses make this pattern feel playful for Halloween. I used scraps from my stash for the little windows and doors, and it came together much faster than I expected. Paper piecing kept all the angles sharp and neat.

Finished mine at 65 by 67 and the dimensions were spot on for a twin bed. The little birds among the houses make the Halloween theme feel playful instead of spooky.

I love how the houses and pumpkins feel like a little Halloween village coming together—the finished size of 65 1/2 by 67 1/2 is perfect for a wall hanging. The pattern itself is clear and easy to follow, even for someone who doesn't quilt often.
