NORTHCOTT - قماش من Deborah Edwards - Texture - Ebony

The deep ebony color is exactly what I wanted for my latest quilt, and the textured weave adds such a nice tactile quality. It holds up well to stitching without fraying, which made assembly so much easier. I’m already planning my next project around this fabric.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well this fabric holds its shape after washing—no fraying or shrinking like cheaper options. The subtle texture adds just enough dimension to make my quilt blocks pop without overwhelming the pattern.

The deep ebony color is so rich and looks almost dimensional because of that woven-like texture. I used it as the background for a floral quilt and it makes the bright prints really pop without competing. The fabric feels sturdy but not stiff, which made piecing easier than I expected.
