NORTHCOTT - Vestige by Patrick Lose - Obsidian

I've been looking for a true black fabric with depth, and this obsidian colorway from Patrick Lose's collection is exactly that. The fabric feels nicely weighted without being stiff, perfect for a quilt backing I'm piecing together.

The deep matte finish of this obsidian fabric feels lovely and smooth to the touch, and the pattern detail really pops against the dark background. It pressed beautifully without any shine, which made my latest project turn out exactly as I envisioned.

I love the way the black base takes on a slightly different look under different lighting, which makes it feel more dynamic than a plain solid fabric. The hand feels smooth and easy to work with, pressing well without much effort.
