NORTHCOTT - Vestige by Patrick Lose - Putty

The putty color is exactly the kind of neutral I can build a whole quilt around, and the fabric has a nice, smooth hand that presses flat without much fuss. It’s subtle enough that the pattern doesn't fight with busier prints, which is just what I needed for a scrappy project.

The subtle pattern adds just enough visual interest without overwhelming my quilt top. The fabric feels soft yet sturdy through the needle, and the putty color blends beautifully with brighter prints I paired it with.

The neutral putty tone is exactly what my quilt backing needed, it blends without fighting the brighter fabrics. The weave feels nicely balanced for both piecing and hand quilting.
