Orion's Star Quilt DVD

The Flying Geese patches are surprisingly straightforward with Eleanor's clear instructions, and the way they blend with the strip piecing creates a stunning star effect. I've already finished one block and can't wait to see the whole quilt come together.

I was worried about tackling a Log Cabin block with stars, but the way Eleanor breaks down the strip piecing makes it feel totally manageable. The DVD quality is sharp, so I could clearly see every step for the Flying Geese patches.

The Flying Geese patches tutorial really clicked for me; I finally understand how to add those stars without things getting wonky. Strip piecing saved me so much time compared to cutting every piece individually.
