Panel Expression 2 by Lorrie Franz

I love how this pattern lets a horizontally printed panel really shine. The finished lap size is perfect for curling up with on the couch, and the instructions made the project feel simple to put together.

The layout guide for a horizontally printed panel is so clear that I finished the top in one afternoon. The finished lap size is perfect for snuggling under while watching TV.

The instructions were so clear that even I—a nervous first-time panel quilter—finished the top in one weekend, and the finished size is genuinely generous for curling up on the couch. It handles a horizontal print beautifully without any awkward cutting.
