جزيرة بازلاء باتش بقلم لورين سميث

I’d done a block of the month before, but this border sampler keeps me engaged month after month without feeling repetitive. The 97-inch final size is generous enough for a proper bed quilt, and the confident beginner skill level means I’m not overwhelmed.

The border pattern is perfect for pacing myself month by month. Cutting the pieces for the 97-inch square went smoothly once I got the hang of the layout. Every block comes together nicely without feeling overwhelming.

I love that this is designed for a confident beginner—the border-style layout made each block feel manageable on my machine. At 97 inches square, it’s going to be a generous quilt for my bed.
